FAQ

How do you train for lead in a bouldering gym?

  • Lead/Toprope routes challenge your tactics, strength, stamina, and mental preparedness. All of these can be trained in a bouldering gym through circuits, route reading drills, clipping, mindset coaching, and yes – bouldering.

How will this facility best prepare athletes for competition?

  • Competion tests you. Training with intention is what prepares you. Precision, coordination, balance, strength and power are all available on the adjustable boards, and the adjustable boulder wall, which will be set with competion boulders set for the athletes.

Is there a tryout?

  • Nope! Fill out the application form to the best of your ability, and feel free to pop by the gym to chat.

Summer Youth Programs!

Day Camps

What to expect

Private / Semi-private Coaching

Overview

Tilted’s private and small-group programming is designed for athletes who are ready to develop strong technical foundations, movement confidence, and training habits.

Through intentional skill progression, and small group instruction, athletes will follow a holistic training program, while still having fun and building confidence.

Identifying and correcting areas of weakness, either technically or physically, is one of the standout priorities of this program. Individualized training plans will be built, together with the athletes, and implemented during training.

We believe great climbers are built through:

  • Strong movement fundamentals
  • Thoughtful coaching and feedback
  • Confidence, focus, and curiosity
  • Consistent routines and positive habits

Our coaches emphasize movement quality over grades, helping athletes learn how to climb, not just how to get to the top.

Programming available for up to 4 athletes per session.
